Innovation at the University of Copenhagen

Businesses, authorities and organisations will have access to world-class research, talents, highly skilled students and innovative environments.

UCPH want to foster an ecosystem where talent, ideas and research help build a better future and increase the impact of research on the world around us.

From good ideas to societal solutions

The University’s 2030 strategy sets out innovation as a core university activity along with education and research. UCPH should benefit more people, which is the ambition of the efforts with innovation and impact.

There is a huge demand for new solutions, technologies and skills in both businesses and society. Many complex societal challenges require a holistic approach and cross-disciplinary knowledge. UCPH works across a wide range of academic disciplines, comprising both interdisciplinary research and high-quality specialisation.

All the University’s faculties actively contribute to innovation. On an ongoing basis, we develop new collaboration opportunities, knowledge sharing and interdisciplinary activities that boost the innovation culture and the University’s role in a coherent innovation ecosystem.
