Business partnerships and innovation activities
The UCPH section External Partnerships matches businesses’ needs with the University’s expertise via collaboration with outside world, strategic partnerships, innovation activities and the initiatives UCPH AI and UCPH Quantum Hub.
In addition, the section is responsible for the annual Nordic Innovation Fair and Innovation District Copenhagen.
UCPH Lighthouse – the University’s innovation hub
UCPH Lighthouse is a hub for students, researchers and external partners who want to work across disciplines.
UCPH Lighthouse offers workshops, brainstorming of ideas, a network and access to work spaces and meeting rooms. We also support the commercialisation process for researchers and help educators who want to work with innovation.
Legal support for researchers
Legal Team for Research and IP is responsible for providing legal support to researchers in connection with research, innovation, and impact activities.
The team also negotiates research collaboration and commercial agreements, ensures the best possible framework for the University’s collaborations with external partners, and protects and manages the University’s intellectual property rights (IPR).
